I wonder if the umbrellas would have the "fly emirates logo"
From a local aviation magazine:
Emirates airline, one of the world's fastest growing airlines, presented umbrellas to Dhaka Metro-politan Police (DMP), for use by the city's traffic policemen. (In Bangladesh)
Hanif Zakaria, Emirates' Sales Manager Bang-ladesh, presented 30 umbrellas to S. M. Mizanur Rahman, Commi-ssioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police at a simple ceremony at the latter's office on September 13.
Thanking Emi-rates, Rahman said, "I thank Emirates for considering the plight of our city's traffic policemen - who often work in adverse conditions of heat and rain - by donating 30 large and sturdy umbrellas. The umbrellas will go a long way in easing the day-to-day troubles faced by them."
Zakaria said: "As a responsible corporate citizen, Emirates always seeks to become involved with the community where it serves. I hope our city's diligent traffic policemen will now find cover and protection with our umbrellas, making their duty hours all the more comfortable."
He added: "I look forward to a stronger and greater co-operation with the Dhaka Metropolitan Police in the days ahead."

Brilliant marketing idea!
Now you'll see the Emirates logo as the traffic cop waves at you in Dhaka, although, I do agree with Aseem, Emirates could have given the traffic police 1000 umbrellas (which would have been cheap and flooded the city with their logo).
