Apia, Pago Pago, Nuku'alofa, Suva, Nuku Hiva, Bora Bora, Moorea, Rarotonga, Nouvelle Caledonie, New Hebrides, Kona, Kahului, Lihue (oh, and let's not forget Honolulu); wherever - Let Pualani embrace the Pacific with a new spirit of Aloha! With very few changes and tweaks, Hawaiian would be back to being primo again with a refined yet relaxed Island lifestyle.

Quoting Ha763 (Reply 3): BTW, back in the days of the DC-8, HA used to fly to Apia and a lot more South Pacific destinations.
Oh yes, I remember it well as I was a crew member on those flights. We flew the DC-8's from HNL to PPG, APW, TBU, RAR, PPT, AKL, and SYD. We also flew a once per week charter from AKL to RAR and twice per week HNL-KWJ-MAJ-HNL on a wet lease from Air Marshall Islands.
At one point, we flew HNL-RAR-PPT-HNL.
Those were the good ole days!
