Is there anyone out there that knows how long the runway is at Greenwood Municipal Airport is. It does not look that long and has no commercial service but i was curious as to if a regional jet could land there.
The next generation of aircraft is just around the corner!

Land there? Sure, but only in an extreme emergency. Would the pilot be able to get out again? Yes, but only to IND for gas, and with no one but the flight crew aboard.
I need to get an A/FD and see if the runway would even be able to support a CRJ in the first place. :P

Maybe a small one. Looking at the nearby airports Mount Comfort looks like a much better bet, if we are thinking in terms of bringing a major carrier in with regional aircraft.
