The Italian carrier 'Alpi Eagles' is going to start a daily service between DUS and FCO from 30 Oct with a F100 aircraft.
This is the first international service in the northern Europe for E8.

E8 1415 DUS FCO 12.45 p.m. 02.55 p.m.

Good news for DUS!

Any idea on any other German services?

It certainly is not. I remember they used to serve TXL-VCE for quite some time.

AFAIK, it is a simple replacement of the existing ALitalia service in order to allow AZ to compete more effectively with LTU's and Air Berlin's LCC flights on the route.

They also used to fly HAJ-MXP for AZ, so they're really not newcomers to "Northern Europe"...
