After having read other trip reports, here's mine.
We booked on SR708, ZRH-CDG on 04 June 2000. The flight was operated with an A320 (HB-IJO). The aircraft was 100% full. Push back was at 18:45 instead of 18.20, what is nothing unusal. We taxied all the way along the construction fields for the new Dock Midfield, which is part of the 5th expansion of ZRH. So far so good; the aircraft holded short, but didn't start for take off. After some minutes, the pilot announced a short delay, because of deers on the runway!!! I know, ZRH does a lot for its environmental friendly image, but that's too much. However, some laughings showed, that the pax had a good sense of humour.
After some more minutes the pilot told us, that the start has to be postponed, because "Paris doesn't accept any traffic anymore at the time". The result: no laughing people anymore. More things like "Damn xxx" and so on.
So, we taxied back. The pilot didn't know, what was happening and couldn't tell us therefore, what will happen with this flight. We were parked somewhere at the tarmac, where we waited seating in the aircraft. After about 10 minutes, the pilot said, that we had a new slot in about 20 minutes. At the time we finally rolled to the runway, we should already be in Paris, but at least we had some chocolate during the period we were waiting in the aircraft.
Finally we started with a delay of about 1:15 hour. After about 20 minutes of flight we saw a huge thunderstorm on the right side of the aircraft. It was marvellous to see but less funny once we entered this system of black clouds. The pilot announced some turbulences ahead of us, but the short shaking was more, than I expected. Some people screamed. It was like a bad Hollywood air disaster movie. Thanks god, it lasted only some seconds.
The rest of the flight was normal, the service as always good on Swissair. The landing at Paris was normal, but the braking was more like in a F1 race. What I can't understand, is when people stand up even during taxying around the airport. Do they think, they get out earlier of the airplane that way?
Well finally, after a really interesting flight, the "salt in the soup" was the alarm, which started suddenly, as we stepped in the fingerdock. As this alarm was about 1 meter away from my ears, it was really loud, I can tell you.

I mean of course within the perimeter fence and not in the forests outside. It has been reported in the Zurich newspapers a few years ago. The deers must have found a hole in the fence. That is perhaps one reason for the new fence.

I agree with the point about people walking around the cabin whilst the plane is taxi-ing. It is utter ignorance and compromises the safety of other passengers.
On a recent flight to Prestwick form Stansted with Ryanair a passenger got out of their seat walked forward a number of rows to pass something to another passenger as we were taxi-ing for take-off! I was pleased to see the cabin crew on her like a shot. Muppet!

If anybody here like to get up before the plane stopped
please stop doying !!!!
Some time ago I had the chance to try an MD-11 simulator IN motion!
Well while the guy (friend of mine ) was terminating the
program of the SIM. I realised that the plane was moving,so I stepped on the brakes, not much but enough
to see him land just in front of the windshield!!
Immagine if this happen during TAXI ,personally I wouln't
like to try this experience!!
