I have not heard much lately on the status of Air Jamaica of Air Jamaica Express. The last I heard they were having some serious financial trouble and control of the the airline was back to the government. I remember in the late 80s and early 90s they were in very bad shape and then did well when it became privatized . I am not sure what happened , does any one know the latest on Air Jamaica and possible future plans? I would think that with proper management a national Jamaican airline should be profitable as they always seem to br full. Thanks for any info.
