Goes down to 2-3-2 at the back, as the fueselage gets thinner. Back 8 or so rows. Its nice to sit there as the aisle are bigger and you can stand in the aisle while the F/A's walk past.

It Depends on the Aircraft. MyTravel have a fleet of A333s and A332s. The Airbus A330-300s are usually the Danish Aircraft, though a selection of them have been operating some U.K Charter Flights. The A330-200s are normally operating MyTravel Airways U.K flights.
Anyway, the below is data dated Summer 2004, so is subject to change.

The Skyservice A330-300 config was completely different to the MyTravel A330-300 config - which has no premium economy cabin and predomiantly 3-3-3 seating.

Cheers Crosswind, didn't know that. It didn't have the normal A333 details in it, but as it's from MYT U.K, it doesn't really need to I guess.
Nobody take any notice of my A333 details! (see below post)
Aren't the MYT A333s 2-4-2 and not 3-3-3? In fact i'm pretty sure they are.

MyTravel Airways (U.K) is Charter Airline operating flights for its parent Package Holiday company MyTravel, which includes it's brands in the U.K such as Airtours Holidays, Aspro Holidays etc... See the full list: here. MyTravel also have brands in Scandinavia, (Bridge for example) and North America (ALBA Tours for example).
Visit this link to find out more about operations abroad. The areas are located under the quick links section.
In the U.K they operate from Airports like Gatwick, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester, Leeds Bradford, East Midlands etc... to places such as Majorca, Lanzarote, Orlando, Cancun, Zante. Holiday flights mostly.

Am I right in thinking there was or is a Skyservice A330 with no centreline overhead bins? I seem to recall it being on lease to AIH in the late 1990's or 2000 time? Could be wrong though. If this is the case, how come no centre bins?
British Caledonian...we never forget, you have a choice

Yes, the Skyservice C-FRAV has no overhead bins in the center of the aircraft. Not sure why but I know passengers got upset when they had to have their backpacks put down in the hold.

C-FRAV is operating with LTU now, with registration D-AERS. Shes been with them since 3rd April 2005.
Quoting Orion737 (Reply 12): Nice to see that the Scandinavians 330s are 2-4-2 eight abreast while UK MYT 330s are 3-3-3.
It's all personal preferenace I think. Some people prefer the 2-4-2 layout, whereas some prefer the 3-3-3 layout. This may be because it suits the needs of their party better or because they consider one config to be more confortable. One thing that people do like on the MyTravel A330s is the downstairs toilets though! Myself, I prefer the 3-3-3 layout.

You might be refering to C-FBUS, as she was on lease with Airtours International from 13th November 2000 till 18th January 2001, and 25th February 2001 till 30th April 2001. That sounds about right for your time margain. I do not know if she didn't have or did have center overhead bins though.

I do also recall some passengers comments regarding there being no IFE on the Skyservice Aircraft they flew on. Do/did any of the Skyservice A330s have IFE installed?
Quoting A360 (Reply 13): As for the 332's, it's all 3-3-3.
If you look at the seating plan for the A332, the seats layout goes into 2-3-2 at the back.

Hi,
Quoting Karan69 (Reply 7): Please enlighten me where does MYT offer regular services to and from where??
MyTravel Airways UK operate a number of regular services purely based on the season. During the coming Winter, we will see regular Long Haul flights to Goa (which I will be using ), Kerala, Male, Jardines Del Ray, Varadero, Holguin, Cancun, Puerto Plata, La Romana and Montego Bay. On the Short Haul front; flight will be operating increased frequencies to Africa including: Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Agadir and Monastir plus schedules to the Spanish Mainland, the Balearics and Canaries, France, Italy, Malta, Paphos, Bucharest and Austria.
In Summer 2006, service to Salvador, Brazil will resume and new service to Punta Cana, Djerba Island (Tunisia) and all the regular Summer routes will be operating.
Also, rumours are speculating that Winter 2006/2007 will see South Africa added to the portfolio. We will see next month though when preliminary schedules are announced.

Just a reminder that Mytravelairways offer 2/3 flights a week from MAN_LAS with premium seating and a vastly lower cost than BMI. I believe they are intending to operate 3 flights in the peak next summer so watch out.. However they cannot pick up from US so bad luck for you, the limeys win this one by lots of dollars
