Frontier's fourth employee Name the Tails contest is under way. My previous names have never been chosen. I could use some suggestions. The conest ends on October 4. I'll give you full credit when the results are posted.

These are the three tails.

The name along with a picture of the animal on the tail is displayed prominently on a poster just inside the aircraft entry door.

I'm still looking for an appropriate animal for "Mariner." I don't think these 3 look like a Mariner. I'm waiting on a flamingo or pelican.

Don't pick any of these:

Airbus A319

922 N922FR red fox "Foxy"
923 N923FR raccoon "Rudy"
924 N924FR polar bear cubs "Klondike and Snow"
925 N925FR Dall's sheep "Dale"

936 N936FR walrus "Earl"
937 N937FR blue crowned conure "Carmen"
938 N938FR arctic fox "Misty"
939 N939FR emperor penguins "Jim, Joe, Jay, and Gary"
940 N940FR snowshoe hare "Jack"

Airbus A318
801 N801FR grizzly bear "Grizwald"

There's a great article about Frontier in the latest issue (No.95) of Airliners magazine.

Thanks for your help!

Gray Wolf - Fang (to commemorate Jack London's Book)
Big Horn - Horatio (for Horatio Hornblower)
Deer Fawn - Fawn sounds nice

How about "Hunter" the Wolf
"Randy" or "Randal" the Ram
and (how can I resist) "Dawn" the fawn

Quoting King (Thread starter):
937 N937FR blue crowned conure "Carmen"

Should be "mariner"

Quoting FATFlyer (Reply 1):
Gray Wolf - Fang or Jack (to commemorate Jack London's Book)

Jack is the rabbit, N940FR.

Gray Wolf should be "White Fang" (Shut up, it's close enough)
Fawn should be Bambi, shouldn't it?

And I can't think of any for N942FR.

I agree since White Fang is the true name of the book character, but I wasn't sure how a 2 word name would go over.

This is for someone without a name.

I like most of the suggestions so far. Thank you.

That's true Greg, but it didn't stop the porn industry from using Bambi. Not that I would know.

Matt the big horn sheep (Matterhorn-geddit?)
Farrah the Fawn

Is the gray wolf being renamed. You have N901FR showing the gray wolf already named "Wally"
My twelve year old son picks "snowflake" for the fawn. I'm guessing he's keying in on the white spots.  idea

How about "Rocky Top" for the long horn sheep.

And how about "Critter" for the gray wolf.

The three names are:

Herman, Amanda, and Chuck, obviously.

Herman is the fawn (what did you think?)
Amanda is the wolf
Chuck is the Ram

Or Dexter. The Ram could be Dexter.

Really, anything but Keesje.

Maybe if F9 was based in TYS, that'd be perfect...

Considering most of the names that exist already are just names with some character and not especially meaningful otherwise, I think most of you are trying to be way too clever. And they aren't going to take a trademarked or copyrighted name either, as that involves money...

But how about Geddy Lee for the wolf?

Ah yes TYS, the gateway to the Smokies. F9 operates somewhat close, BNA is a mere 174 miles to the west. I just drove through Knoxville and Nashville last week. I know the I-40 and I-81 corridor well.
