Hi guys,

I see there is a new company in greece advertising that it has an MD80 for lease on Speednews.com , is this any connection to Alexandair at all.

With all the press that alexandair got during part of the summer, i wonder if this is a name change to try and protect its future, or is SkyWings just an aircraft leasing company.

I dont want to start any rumours or anything but be interested to find out who these people are.

Many Thx

Skywings was planning to launch earlier this year already with an ex-Freebird Airlines MD-83 but that did not happen. From what I know there is no connection with Alexandair.

Thx for the quick reponse there Thomas,

So we may have another MD80 start up from greece comming onto the scenes, be interesting to watch and see what happens.

I find these start up companies very interesting as they just seem to spring up from no where.... LOL.

Many Thx

Talking of Alexandair, anyone know what they are up to this winter. I know they had a busy summer with a few probs along the way but they seem to be back on track now.
