Are Air Scandic still operating Excel Airways Tuesday flight to Tenerife, i.e. XLA4178 and XLA4179.
This was supposed to be a Finnair 757 plane operated by Air Scandic on behalf of Excel Airways.
When I looked at the Newcastle Airport website, it's actually down as a 737 now.
Is it an Excel 737, 800 series perhaps? Have they started using their own aircraft now that the summer season is effectively over and demand has dropped off?

Flights on Tuesdays to Tenerife use Finnair flight codes (AY)
Flights to Tenerife on Fridays use Air Atlanta Europe flight codes (EUK).
All these flights operate using a based Finnair 757-200.
Excel Airways own flights operate using 2 based 737-400s.
XLA do not operate NCL-TFS at all this yera
When you hear the noise of the Tartan Army Boys, we'll be coming down the road!

Air Atlanta have talen over Air Scandic operations for the remainder of the season at NCL, and all finnair B752's are operating those particular routes that SCY were supposed to. I'm not quite sure which aircraft would be operating the NCL-TFS route, but operations seem to be running as they were before SCY went under. The Tuesday flight is now being used with the EUK flight code. Never trust the NCL website, it's always wrong. It told me a few destinations did not have flights on their flight days
