Hey all my fellow a.netters!!. I've got a queston: is FLL/TPA/MCO RJ hubs or focus cities?? Because DL seems to have a ton of Florida flights to every small/mid-sized city south of Washington. Can somebody clarify this for me?
Also does anybody know al the destinations DL/DCI serve from to Florida??

All three of them are focus cities, relying mostly on the O&D traffic. MCO though has somewhat of a potential for a hub, but the connection opportunities are still somewhat limited.

AVL, ATL, AUS*, BTR*, BHM, BOS, CHS, CVG, CAE, CMH, DFW*, DAY, GSO, GSP, BDL, HSV, MCI*, LAS, LEX, LIT, LAX, SDF, BNA, NAS, LGA, JFK, ORF, XNA, OKC*, RDU, RIC, SLC, SAT, SFO*, SJU, TRI, TUL*

*= announced, but not yet started
Those should be all, though I might have forgotten about 1 or 2.

Didn't IND used to have TPA, MCO, FLL flights until recently?

These cities are also important for Song operations, with flights to LGA/JFK as well as LAS, LAX, SFO, BOS, BDL, etc. I'd expect to see more Song flights to these markets in the future.

It did, but those flights have been dropped a long time ago.

FLL is actually a Chautaqua "hub".
They have on-site maintence for their ERJ's and it is a crew base for RP.
It is quite a site to watch them change a main gear wheel and tire on a turn.

Chautauqua has bases in both MCO and FLL; flights will be reduced in December I heard.
The Embraer hangar in FLL is mainly for delivery flights for North American airlines. RP has no access to it.

Actually FLL is a MX base for us. As well as a delivery point. FLL and MCO are crew as well as MX bases for us.

Delta is huge in Florida. At JAX we get 767-300's to ATL, ERJ's to FLL, CRJ's to LGA, we have a Crown Room Club, the 767's depart basically on the hour.. Its a major operation... and this is just Jacksonville!
