Hey all my fellow a.netters!!. I've got a queston: is FLL/TPA/MCO RJ hubs or focus cities?? Because DL seems to have a ton of Florida flights to every small/mid-sized city south of Washington. Can somebody clarify this for me?
Also does anybody know al the destinations DL/DCI serve from to Florida??
All three of them are focus cities, relying mostly on the O&D traffic. MCO though has somewhat of a potential for a hub, but the connection opportunities are still somewhat limited.

These cities are also important for Song operations, with flights to LGA/JFK as well as LAS, LAX, SFO, BOS, BDL, etc. I'd expect to see more Song flights to these markets in the future.

FLL is actually a Chautaqua "hub".
They have on-site maintence for their ERJ's and it is a crew base for RP.
It is quite a site to watch them change a main gear wheel and tire on a turn.

Chautauqua has bases in both MCO and FLL; flights will be reduced in December I heard.
The Embraer hangar in FLL is mainly for delivery flights for North American airlines. RP has no access to it.

Delta is huge in Florida. At JAX we get 767-300's to ATL, ERJ's to FLL, CRJ's to LGA, we have a Crown Room Club, the 767's depart basically on the hour.. Its a major operation... and this is just Jacksonville!
