My first flight was Air 2000 in August 1993 LGW-CFU. I was not so enthusiastic about aircraft then so I didn't pay much attention to the type of aircraft. Can anyone help me with the type of plane Air 2000 used on this route at that time? My fading memory drags up snippets that tells me it was either a 757 or a 737(300 onwards). Any suggestions will be gratefully recived.

It would've either been a B757-200 or A320.
I think that they were the only aircraft in the fleet at that time but I may be mistaken.
If they were the only aircraft types, then i'd think it was a B757.
Yes. At the start of the summer season in 1993 Air 2000 operated a fleet of 15 B757 200s and 4 A320 231s. I do not think this changed in the following 12 months.

No it did not, so the chances are you flew a 757 or an A320. I flew the airline in the same period and travelled on board an A320, I don't know whether it would be a distinguishing feature or not but the A320 had flip down TV's.

Thanks for the replys.
The plane did have flip down TV's.
Since I have been entusiastic about plane I have traveled on 737's, 330's, 767's, and 777's. If the Air 2000 fleet was just 757's or 320's, then that is another aircraft type I have been on.
