I'm trying to put together a list of all A345/A346 operators and what routes they're currently using them on now and in the near future - can you guys help me please?
Operators so far:
A345: AC, SQ, EK, TG
A346: VS, LH, SA, CX, TG, IB, MU
Not sure if I've missed any? As for routes, I don't know half of them!
Also, as a complete aside, anyone know when, exactly, NZ get their first 777 and what routes they're using it on?
IB also uses the A346 in the MAD-JNB route, sometimes MAD-BCN, MAD-LPA and MAD-TFN, when there's a very high demand on these national flights.
bye! rmcf

Quoting Keesje (Reply 6): This picture from FI suggests AC flies a345 to DEL
I'm not sure, but if I'm not mistaken AC today flies three weekly YYZ-DEL with A343 and as of October 29 they will fly daily with 763 with stop-over in ZRH.
...
Once again... my schedule may have some errors. Corrections are welcome

That must be the longest schedulled nonstop both ways A343 flight with 11662km.
DEL-YYZ takes 15h30min which is a lot!! How can it be almost as long(duration) as, for example, the HKG-JFK(15h50min / 16h20min) flight by CX, which is almost 1500 km longer?!

They don't. They operate BKK-JFK, and BKK-KIX-LAX with their 744.
Which on the subject, does TG have any plans to operate LAX nonstop?

Thai also uses the 346 on the BKK-KIX-LAX route. I know certain days it's in the schedule for December and January.

That's awesome! North American routes can all get the brand new TG product. It was pretty cool using the 345 to BKK from JFK, if only we had not been delayed in JFK for 3 hours on the tarmac because of thunderstorms. Man it made the flight to a grand total of 20 hours!
Next I want to try SQ's 345 on EWR-SIN, They have a 2-3-2 configuration in economy which really helps as far as comfort wise since TG's 2-3-2 seating is only in premium economy.
Not sure if LH have changed FRA YYZ back to a 346 from a 744. They might well do as demand drops a bit in winter. It has certainly been on the route plenty before.
Quoting A360 (Reply 12): Does't Thai also flies BKK-LAX with the 345?
YES, soon they will have that operated too as TG 774 via KIX. It is also anticipated that TG974 BKK-DME will by switched from their MD-11 to a
346 during summer schedule 2006.
25 797: Wow, This is the winner for good luck! I recently did this exact flight on a IB old-rottin' 747, with very very old and wasted configuration, a very
26 Iluv747400: They also use their 346 on alternate days on their HKG-YVR-JFK route.
27 Brasuca: It's important to note that, as for IBERIA, they mix their aircraft type amazingly. None of their destinations has permanent A346 sevice. GRU and GIG
28 Iberiadc852: MAD-LPA, MAD-TFN, MAD-TFS, and MAD-BCN, as some of them have been mentioned, are also domestic destinations for the 346 (IB). (Quite often the two fi
29 Dairy: Lufthansa has now got 10 A346 (D-AIHx; x=A-L), 7 more are to come (x=M-S). The 10 A346 have tweo class-config, the new 7 A346 will have F-Class too. T
30 Iberiadc852: By the way, anyone knows if any 343 or 346 have ever gone to ACE or FUE?. I would love them to have been there.
31 Ktachiya: I don't know if this was a temporary aircraft change but when I flew NRT-YVR on September 7th, I saw a TG A346 parked in one of the Charlie 80 gates.
32 MGA: Why? re they replacing the 343 or the 744? Or is it a new flight? MGA
33 Richard28: The A346 is replacing the B744 on the VS007/VS008 service. The A343 (VS023/VS024) service remains unchanged.
34 MGA: Do you know why they are dong this? I thought the loads were good... MGA
35 Richard28: DOnt know I'm afraid. The VS A346 has a bigger Upper Class capacity than the B744 - perhaps this could be why - or cargo perhaps?
36 Ikramerica: CO does EWR-HKG and EWR-DEL (soon) with the 772ER, so I would assume the A343 can do them as well.
37 Afterburner: I think the economy class on SQ's 345s is considered as premium economy (I don't know about the fares though).
38 Dc10heaven: Wow, the A350-500 up & running so quickly..
39 UA777222: Cathey you can also book YVR-JFK segment which they do.... Thanks, Matt
40 Cxsjr: Wow ..... thanks for all your help and information folks. I think I'll have to start with a new sheet and make all the alterations you've stated and h
42 Thorben: You can look it up at http://www.airbus.com/odxml/orders_and_deliveries.xls There you can also see those on order.
43 AwysBSB: VARIG would be a great A345 operator: the routes that could be served are MAO/NRT, REC/PEK and POA/AKL.
44 MIASkies: MIA sees the IB 346 on ocassion, usually it is served by the 743 (Air Atlanta Equip). Not sure why MIA does not get regular 346 service? SJU and SDQ g
