I need help checking possibilities on a routing MSO - LLW. I have tried very online site available, nothing is working.

Can someone suggest some sites that would be able to assist?

Kind regards,

You're routing is cutting across airline groupings. You could try MSO-SEA, SEA-LHR-NBO on BA and NBO-LLW on KQ or SEA-MSP-AMS-NBO on KL./KQ

Thats a hell of a trip.

Try this site. You can't book on it but it will give you an itinerary that you can book through a travel agency. You have to register before you use it.

Good Luck.

Support Airliners.net - become a First Class Member!

if you can get yourself to SEA your fine. You can also go MSO-SEA-LHR-JNB-LLW on BA/SA or MSO-SEA-AMS-ADD-LLW on NW/ET.

JNB-LLW is ops by the A319 on SA and ADD-LLW by the 757 on ET.

SUV,

Any ideas on prices for your routing starting around 20 Dec 05 and returning after 10 Days. Eco and BIZ. According to the KL website LLW is no longer bookable. Very strange.

Thanks and brgds,

Dkny,

The problem is, on two separate tickets, this will be a night mare if any one carrier on any one sector is delayed!

It has to be issued on one through ticket.

Contact a travel agent to get you a routing that could be ticketed all together.

Careful using the word "travel agent" around here. Some of the internet supporters will have a coronary.  Wink

QM - if you have a company like STA (they normally handle student travel) near you (are you in MSO?) they can probably help you best.

Just out of curiosity, since I am from GTF originally, what in the world brings you to Missoula?

Since SAA recently joined star alliance, a booking on UA though DEN etc.
shouldn't be too much trouble.

...and that's not "just another" Dash-8; it's a 74-pax DH-8-Q400, a type operated by very few airlines anywhere in the world and, to my knowledge, Horizon Air is the only operator of the type in the Western Hemisphere. So if you're into logging as many different airliner types as possible, here's an opportunity for a type that's very hard to find, much less schedule.

To keep your itinerary as streamlined (fewest stops/transfers) as possible, all roads to/from MSO go through MSP (NW) or SEA (AS* opb QX).

Good catch. And another example of the myth that code-share is the greatest thing for consumers since sliced bread.

I say another because just before I left on vacation 2 weeks ago, I booked a one-way U.S. domestic two-leg itinerary for a caller at about half the "advertised" code-share fare by going around the code-share pricing game. Priced as a "consumer friendly" code-share through fare, the total fare priced at $824.40. By booking the same flights on the same day but as the flight numbers of the operating airlines with separate point-to-point fares of the respective carriers (rather than as a through fare), the two fares combined priced at a total of $432.40.

Since the connecting airline was one with whom my airline has an interline electronic ticketing agreement, we were able to issue the itinerary on the same e-ticket, at a "paltry" savings of $392.00 to the consumer by "thinking outside the box" -- our computer program gave only the far pricier code-share fare when checking availability and fares for flights from point A to B on the date requested. And that is by no means the first time I have saved a customer some appreciable $$$ by doing the same.

Makes me wonder how many consumers have been fleeced for how many million$ or, more likely, billion$ by the fallacy that code-share through fares are, without exception, the greatest thing to happen for consumers since the advent of the DC-3 some 70 years ago. On the other hand, the legacies will claim that consumers have saved as much or more by code-share pricing -- although one wonders if such a claim is merely a case of still more sleight-of-hand (which the legacies have elevated to an art form) whereby your favorite legacy/alliance partner puts a $100.00 bill into your left pocket but then takes a $100.00 bill from your right pocket and tells you what a "great deal" they've given you, as if they are Santa Claus.

Why? Very complicated, multi-stop, multi-carrier routings (like yours) do require a professional's help, mainly because of the complicated SABRE or other GDS commands. Travelocity isn't going to help you much here.
