i booked my flight back home (eze-dfw) a long time ago.
when i booked it, it was supposed to be the first flight from here with the 777(flt 909). but with all of the weird stuff happening here lately(no school exams due to a strike on friday), i am becomeing very worried about having to fly on AA's horrible MD-11s. is there a website that i can check to make sure that i will be flying the 777 and not MD-11. if i have to fly that god awfull plane once more i am going to bomb them all(just joking, but i really hate that plane)

You can check out any of the major travel sites (http://www.travelocity.com, http://www.itn.net,http://www.thetrip.com, etc.) usually those will tell you what equipment the plane is. Also if you have an AAdvantage account you can use AA's site to check out the equipment.
One more note, I'm the exact opposite of you... I hate 777's, love MD-11's. Sad to see them leaving many airlines. I won't go beyond that otherwise this would turn into a muck fest.

i do have an advantage card, but i never knew you could check the equipment on the website! i dont know if i like the 777 because i have not yet flown it and want to in the worst way. i can respect that you like the MD-11 but i wouldnt understand why ill be sure to give a trip report after the flight

Flight 909 is the MIA-EZE flight. It starts 777 service on Sunday, June 18th.

If you are on the first flight maybe there will be a party at the airport. My mother was on the first EZE-JFK flights and American organized a party at the gate with food, drinks and souvenirs. Maybe with the 777.

What date are you flying? Are you sure EZE-MIA is flight 909? I thought for sure 909 is MIA-EZE especially since it has a odd flight number. American numbers their flights, as a general rule, even North/East and odd South/West.
