As many of you will know the story behind Transjet and its operations was a very interesting one and there are many stories to tell too.
Does anyone know what and where the aircraft are that Transjet operated ... MD83 / 747-200.
Also, i wonder what Mr Thomas Johanssen is up to these days. Would love to see just one more airline from him to come and brighten up the aviation world. Love those MD's darting about europe, ok they had problems, but was a very interesting operation that they had.

I think its best for the travelling public that he stays well away from the airline business! They may have provided us some fun on these boards when they were operating, but when you seriously consider the way they operated and how many peoples holidays they ruined, were probably better off without them. Same as Air Scandic!
And that reflects in no way on the people that worked for them who i'm sure had a great time, and always gave it their best. (IIRC you were crew? what you up to these days?)

Two of the 747s were delivered to Northeast and I doubt they do much flying these days. There has however been a rumour that Northeast would operate the 747 between Sweden and Thailand the coming winter for the virtual airline Eastjet, but this seems only to have been a rumour.
