Does anybody know or have a link to a site that would give me the current breakdown of Delta mainline aircraft color schemes?
Any info is appreciated.

I have been keeping a list of the aircraft over the three liveries.

I can advise that there remain (based on my research) in the mid (Ron Allen) livery:

762: 2 (to retire)
763: 30
757: 19 (some maybe to Song)
M88: 18/19
732: 5 (to retire)
733: 9 (mat retire)
738: 21 (at least one repainted)

TOTAL : 104/105

I can supply current details of rego's/tail numbers if required.

The current list isn't quite up to date with the latest paintings and retirements but we have 30 various 737, 16-757 and 33 767 left.

Sorry, B767-300ER N394DL is in the new colors, not the old colors.

Jeremy,

Some updates for your list. All the MD88s are now painted. 757, 601 just got done. 616 and 652 are now in Song colors. 614 will be the last to be painted into Song next week. For the 738 fleet 373 through 379 are now done. In the next two weeks 386DL, 389DL and 390DL will be in for paint. As for the the 732 and 733 the internal list is being updated. We have retired quite a few in the last few months and they are all still on the list right now. For the 767 fleet 156DL is in paint right now.

As the MD-80s are being re-painted, are they bringing back the old Widget or are they still putting on the new/old "rounded" widget logo?

They've gone back to the old widget.

N309DL was in the old colors...has it been retired? How many 732 are still flying?

Let's hear it for the pudgy rampers!

The "new" widget looks like a frown. There are plenty of frowns going on at DL already to have the damn logo frowning...about time they went back to the old one.

I believe the ex-WestPac planes (947WP, 948WP, 951WP, 952WP) have been withdrawn from service.

Anyway, seemed like the vast majority of ATL was in the new colours yesterday. Saw a few 757s that were in the old colours, a couple 737s and a couple 767s, but everything else (about 90%+) was in the new livery. I'm going back through ATL on Wednesday evening and next Sunday evening, and I must admit it does look a lot better than having the old mix of everything at ATL.

As for the 737 retirements I don't have a list. They are still showing up on inventory and I havn't kept a personal list of the ones we have sent in the last couple of months. At some times our dept would have five or six sitting on the ramp with titles blanked out waiting to go. Many sat there while we fullfiled the terms of end of lease agreements. I do think most of the West Pac ones are gone.

Don't forget, of course, that Spirit of Delta is wearing the 75th anniversary special paint, so it's in a class by itself.

And, according to the latest rumors, when it is retired, it will be repainted in delivery colors. Which will make it the last Widget, it seems.

Now how does one gain entry to the Heritage Museum to see it?

(and y'all in the paint shop are gonna get pics for us, right?)
