AF 460 CDG-CCS of the 7th has been delayed by 24 hours. Today 2 flights will operate, with one hour interval (scheduled arrivals 14.10 and 15.10). So you maybe able to get interesting views.
Avoid 777 with 3-4-3 config in Y ! They are real sardine cans. (AF/KL for example)

Will both flights be operated by B744 or has one been changed into maybe A340 or T7? That would also be a nice photo opportunity. If some of the spotters/photographers went down to the beach for the day they might see them or even take a picture.
This is the info of the delayed flight AF460A, the other one left at 12.10AM, ETA 15.19
Flight left from Paris (CDG) at 11:40 AM on October 7, 2005
Returns from Paris (CDG) at 1:45 PM on October 7, 2005
Scheduled departure from Paris (CDG) at 12:00 PM on October 8, 2005
Scheduled arrival in Caracas (CCS) at 3:10 PM on October 8, 2005
Then it says this was due to a labour dispute beyond the airlines control. Any explanation? I would understand a strike or so but then it wouldn't even leave, right?

Good question ! I assumed it was another 744, but I have not info about that. It is difficult to be sure with AF website, as it seems to have some problems to manage two flights on the same day called 460 (normal flight for today) and 460A (delayed flight), since both appear as 460.
And so we are now waiting for the "official" info from FlySSC !

I remember we had the same problem when I was working for Polar Air Cargo in AMS. A flight was delayed but we had another flight the next day with the same flight number which caused a lot of problems to our system and confused the employees as they needed to see very closely which cargo was booked on which flight for the handling agent. In other words, a total mess but eventually everything was correct fortunately.

Both flights to CCS are operated by 744s, according to the website.

Lamedianaranja,
I see you post from Venezuela. A few years ago I visited CCS and it had a nice and open air viewing area on International Terminal and also some area on the domestic terminal (where all Aeropostal flights park).

Quoting S.P.A.S. (Reply 5): Are those viewing falicities still available?
No, both are closed. The international due to the construction of new arrival facilities and the domestic one probably due to security reasons. Very sad, as both were great spotting areas.
BTW: Both AF leaving at 16:50 local, both 744. Must be a nice view !
And: again, Santa Barbara arriving from MAD and leaving to MAD, both cancelled.

AF460 leaving CDG friday was cancelled because of a technical problem on the B744 that needed long time to be fixed (problems on the main landing gear). As no other a/c was available, the flight was cancelled and re-schedulled the next day in the morning.
That's why two flights AF460A and AF460B, both operated by a B744, arrived in CCS on Saturday 8th.
One of them returned to Paris the same evening as AF461, the second one "spent the night" at CCS and left the day after (as there was not two Crew available to operate both flights to Paris on Saturday)
