Boeing 747-400 Orders

According to Boeing's website, there are only four oustanding orders to be fullfilled for the 747-400 passenger version. All four are for Philippine Airlines.

If Boeing don't go ahead with the 747 Adv, do you think they will be the last passenger 747's to be built?

It's worth noting that there are also 38 freighter 747 order's still outstanding.

When will the last passenger 747 be delivered to Philippine Airlines?

I think its one B744 per month off the production line. So all B744 passenger versions will be completed in February. IMO the B744s future 100% depends on the B744Adv.

You say it's one 747 per month off the production line.
Do you mean one 747 (including freighters) per month or one passenger 747 per month.

Like I said in my post, there are 38 unfullfilled 747 freighter orders. So if they are producing one 747 (including freighters) per month, then it could be more than another 3 years before Philippine Airlines get all their 747-400's.

I will re-phrase what I said. If the B744 passenger were the next four off the line then all B744 passenger will be finished by February

Blsbls99, apologies if this has already been discussed. I did do a quick search, but I couldn't find any related topics.

If Boeing don't go ahead with the 747 Adv, it is more than likely that the last 747 passenger plane has been delivered.

I reckon it is prbably this one B-18215 for China Airlines:

sl OT but with the delivery of the 4 recent GE powered 744s for CI, their website still shows only 13 passenger 747s in service. They had 4 Pratt planes from the early 90s which are a different seating configuration to the other 9 Pratt ones delivered starting 95. One of their early 744s has gone to Boeing for LCF conversion, one was parked at TPE painted all white (also for LCF??? - at least one CA plane is also for LCF conversion but the identity of the 3rd AFAIK is not known). Have they withdrawn the other 2 also? Why? Were they due for a D check or something and they figure it wasn't worth the money to do that and reconfigure the cabins??
