Just curious about the status of one of my favourite aircraft, the mighty Antonov AN-22.
I know Antonov Airlines were using this plane (one of the last few flying), however when browsing through the AN-22 pics on this site, unless I'm mistaken NO NEW pics of this aircraft in operation/flying etc have appeared in months! -except for several of the mueum example at Speyer etc.
Have Antonov Airline retired their bird?? (hence why no new pics of her operational etc...) & if so, is that it.... no more AN-22's in the air anywhere?
P.S. I'll be asking a similar question about the Shorts Belfast in another thread.

I love this plane too...I have a shot of it as my wallpaper!!
speaking of large propeller driven aircraft, do you know if the restoration of the only C-99 has taken place? It was sitting somewhere in Texas rotting away...but they were supposed to move it to the USAF museum in Ohio and restore it...
