No, they fly to Heathrow from Denver.

Anyhow, pack your warm clothes - it's snowing in Denver right now!

Europe's been crazy busy recently--my entire department could not get on various European flights out of DEN (LH and BA) LAX, and ATL in the last month at different times.

rotfl  I find that sort of funny , a Virgin staff travelling on BA  rotfl  , But seriously , How do you a BA ID 90 standby , did you used to work for BA or something.
What I sometimes do is go on the BA website and put in the maximum number of adult passengers ( I think it's 6) in the flight booking area on their home page and if you can select the DEN flight on the day you want to travell in what ever class ( I would say World Traveller) It means there is atleast X number of seats on the plane , and do the same for the return trip.

Airlines have staff travel interline agreements - working for a major airline such as BA or VS staff are able to ID90 on most major international airlines. BA staff can ID90 on VS too!

I am BA staff and flew VS to Miami, BA staff travel were more than happy to give me loads on VS. I cannot see why VS wouldn't be happy to help you with BA loads.

Regards
Alan.

BA could only give you an approximation on VS loads based on what the general availability display shows - Sir Dicky would be jolly pi$$ed off if BA started hacking into his systems again to obtain confidential information!

If the OP called the normal BA Customer Support line, he'd probably get a good indication as to whether he will/won't get on his preferred flight.

BA never did hack into VS systems. FACT!

When VS started they asked BA to provide a facilty for VS to use BA's check-in, as VS had no system of their own. Because of this BA were made aware by VS of their booked loads - just a day before each departure . . . !

I prefer the truth . . . !

I know, I know!

A little bit naive on VS's part and a little bit unscrupulous on BA's part.

Computer abuse, not hacking.

Neither unscrupulous, nor abuse - VS actually gave their simple check-in information to BA, not their detailed reservations information!

Keep up the good work at MAN - we need all the good guys we can get!

Curious - how does this flight do in general? Obviously the LH flight does really well with the ties to UA but how does BA's flight do? Is it usually packed or does it run something like the DFW flight does - about 150-180 pax on board on average (not very well)?
