I have no problem with WN screwing the POS.. but GA? I don't agree with that. A lot of my friends fly out of their, both privately and commercially. If it effects GA that much I hope they aren't allowed in.. just my opinion though.

The only change there will be at Boeing Field is no simotainious runway operations. The GA aircraft will have to maintane a 3 mile seperation from any commerical aircraft, just like anywhere else in the US.

Wait, so in the US GA aircraft have to always maintain a 3 mile separation from any commercial aircraft??? Is this supposed to be everywhere, or just where you have runways so closed together...

I ask because yesterday I was doing touch and go's at TUS and 737s. MD-80s, etc. were significantly closer to me than 3 miles....say up to 400 ft or so.....perhaps we're talking about two different things....

Wouldn't BFI's setup be any different than what it's like at SJC? There's plenty of GA traffic and Commercial traffic at SJC...always has.

3 miles is the standard seperation. Going into TUS, were the aircraft AA going intothe maintenance hangers?

You also can have one airplane landing and one departing at the same time on two different runways.

I think you're talking about TUL, and not TUS, negative on the AA hangars here...but the MD-80s and 737s were American, Delta, SWA, etc. doing their regularly scheduled jaunts.....however, it makes sense with the simulatneous arrivals on parallel runways...
