As title suggests, anyone interested in joining me for the BOS-JFK inaugural? I have already booked myself BOS-JFK B6 1001, the first ever EMB190 B6 flight. It is still selling at $35 including tax.
I am actually thinking about booking another RT for the same day...

Well I am flying B6 1001 BOS-JFK... Just booked the ticket... I am sitting at 12A... so far it seems that only one other person is booked on this flight with a seat at 4B.
I will overnight at possibly one of the Hilton establishments near BOS -- up to award availability.
I hope to see you folks there!
About later in the day, I have class at 4pm... so not sure...

Carfield, how are yhou going to BOS from NYC on the 7th?
I am thinking of flying on flight 1001 as well and taking a day trip back to BOS for photo ops.

Well I originally am doing an AS mileage run SEA-DFW-SEA same day run -- $238 RT not bad... but now plan is changed and less $$$ on the pocket...
Anyway, I will fly to BOS from DFW on Nov 7... as of this point...
About the day trip... I am actually thinking about taking the 10am flight back to BOS, and then the 1pm flight back to JFK. So I can have enough to look around at JFK and then have something to look around at BOS on the return...
My experiences with Jetblue inaugural is that they typically do not have conferences till 8am... even though the flight flight is 6:20am. I guess for the press, 6am is too early. So I will not miss the festivities at JFK around 8am...
I am actually debating if I should take the 11:55am back to JFK... or hang out at BOS for another hour...
However, I can't help to note the one way fare on this new route is the same price as the cheapest car service from Downtown Manhattan to JFK ($35 including tips Chinatown service) and cheaper than the cab ride from JFK to Manhattan ($45 + toll + tips).

I just booked myself on B6 1001 BOS-JFK, in 4D for the ride down. I decided to keep it a day trip, and am coming back on B6 1004 JFK-BOS in seat 4A. I can't wait, well worth the 68 dollars. Maybe I'll run in to one of you guys!
A-10 Thunderbolt II, ugly as hell, efficient as hell, would you like to meet my boomstick?

hi Drewfly,
I just booked the same flights as you...
B6 1001 down to JFK, and then 1004 back to BOS,
and then the 1:20pm flight back to JFK.
All within $100...
I will be on 12A on the first two flights, and then 18A on the last flight.

I would but I have work. Maybe that Saturday I'll go in the morning, hang out in the BOS terminal for 2 hours, then come back to JFK. I'm really interested in 1.) the E190 and 2.) the JetBlue BOS terminal.
At $70 including tax, seems like a good deal to me!

Most people on a.net hate JetBlue. Get used to it.

B61024
JFK-BOS
630A-740A
B61021
BOS-JFK

Are there any festivities planned for the inaugural flights? Anyone else flying on my flights?

Just soke to B6. No press conference, but there may be some TV coverage on the first flight.
Cheapest tickest I am seeing now are $40, so with around $50 (I think JFK-BOS o/w is cheaper than BOS-JFK). Wonder how many seats left on the first flight.

Glad you guys are coming out for the first E190 flights ... you'll LOVE the plane! I'm working JFK-BOS-JFK-BOS that day, but a little later in the day. If you see an F/A named David, that's me.
Let us know what you think of the aircraft and service!

Hey nice name, I like it too lol, so did my parents!
I can't wait to fly the planes. I want to fly the new 190 BTV flight later in the year (or next) when I head up there to my cousins.
Can't wait for it and especially to see the XM. Also when will the 320's have XM (Like all of them)?
