Where and what has happened to this a/c N536JB (Canyon Blue) is she back in service yet? Did jetblue send mechanics to LAX to fix it or what?

What were the findings on the nose gear issue and is it a defect in the part?

Last I heard it was over making test runs at LGB, but that was a week ago. Probably returned to service by now, doesn't take much to replace the landing gear.

Oh well in that case looks like it is back to regular routines. Glad it is fixed!

It was in BUF yesterday. As we were pushing back, we looked out the window and saw it.

I flew on Canyon Blue this past Wednesday (10/12) from JFK-FLL flight 49. We were delayed 3 hours because of the rain, but imagine my surprise when I saw Canyon Blue pull up to the gate! I kept quiet as I didn't want the other passengers to become aprehensive about flying on the aircraft. It was so weird to know that I was flying on the same plane which had so much press coverage just a few weeks prior.

Other than the delay, the flight was great -- smiles from the crew and additional service because of the delay.

The NTSB, FAA, Airbus, JetBlue, French avaition authorities and the nose gear manufacturer are all looking into the defect. It could take weeks/months before they come up with a final verdict/recommendation.
