Hmm. AA's premium cabin catering has been somewhat bland/stale in my opinion and from what I've had and seen on www.airlinemeals.net, it's time for some major changes. I have to wonder how well these new catering options will travel? They are not very appealing to me.

Wonder if any of this new focus on food will drift its way back to steerage?

Probably not, but you never give up hoping...

Strange that this is released today yet I've seen several of those items as recently as mid September on an MIA-LHR flight. I had the Cowboy Steak, IMO it wasn't terribly different from what I've had before on AA and still wasn't very good. AA catering CAN be quite good, but is mostly mediocre. My favorite entree on AA is still the Kentucky Bourbon Chicken. THAT they get right.

A while back I asked an AA FA what we were going to have for dinner. The response was "airline food". That about sums up AA's effort's for domestic flights. Over the Atlantic is better, but accountants are still in charge of the kitchen.
