Anyone else hear about this:

"un-confirmed reports suggest that an agreement has been reached between Canada and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to allow Air Canada to fly to Dubai and beyond to Pakistan with fifth freedom rights (limited to three trips per week) and for Emirates Airlines to fly non-stop to Toronto, also limited to three flights per week. This agreement could go into effect as early as April 2006. Emirates are indicating that they will utilize their Airbus A340-500s on the route with possible Emirates have also made it known that they would also like to fly non-stop from Dubai to both Montreal and to Vancouver, separately with the A340-500. "
