I am wondering if anybody knows whatevery happened to United flying from Miami to London. I remember reading in Fortune, that United bought Delta's Miami to London route. Did United ever serve this route? If United used this authority to serve London from another U.S. city, which one is it?

United only flew the MIA-LHR route from May 1, 1991 until the end of that month. In UA's timetable, it shows the flight as a connection through IAD. I am assuming that UA switched the route authority to an additional freq. from ORD or IAD.
