After searching through comsumer opnion pages on airlines...and passengerrights.com this one takes the cake!

http://www.passengerssuck.com

I'm sure some of you may not find it funny.
But then again, your probably among those whom they are talking about..

Hilarious?? Oh please! It just shows how to treat people as if they were nothing more than idiot pieces of s*it.

I have a sense of humor, but I think that people who pay hundreds of dollars to fly an airline should get some respect. Some of them don't fly often so they need more assistance and have questions that may look stupid, but it's not at all a reason for bashing them.

I thought it was hilerious! After dealing with morons when I worked for Pan Am I can fully understand that point of view.

I have heard of stupid stupid pax tricks like...

Pax eating wet wipes as breath mints

Not knowing where they are going

Not planning on paying for tickets

etc etc etc the list is long but you have got to admit in every segment of the population there is a group of morons... They hit in that segment.

What a great site..........I'm not in the "bizz" but as a frequent flyer I share most of the pet peeves that airline employees do about your everyday "pax".

I agree with CharterFlyer. Although I did find some of the content pretty funny, and I understand sometimes you just have to vent, I have no sympathy for airline personnel. Bottom line: if you don't like your job, if you don't like dealing with people, if you don't like the service/transportation industry....

GET ANOTHER FRICKING JOB!!! We're in the best economy ever. If you can't find another job in this economy, you never will. Like the flying perks but just don't like dealing with stupid customers? Too bad, so sad. You can't have it all. Your airline wouldn't exist if it weren't for those sucky passengers, whether they paid a bulk fare or a full business fare. Smile, expect stupid questions, and get over it.

RE:Redngold
This has everything to do with aviation....sorry

RE:Acvitale
I agree, I am a frequent flier and I think I deserve respect when I shell out $500 a ticket. But face it, some people are idiots.

Last week I was standing in line to check in for my flight. The guy in front of me is harassing the agent because he lost his ticket and the airline wouldn't replace it for the $75 fee. The agent insisted he pay for a new ticket and when the lost one was found turn it in for a refund. Needless to say I already thought the guy was a moron, but he wouldn't budge and for that I stood in line longer. Anyways, after a lengthy brawl between the agent and the passenger the man finally digs into his bag and pulls out his ticket. It turns out he knew he had the ticket, but he was trying to scam the airline by having a "replacement" ticket issued for on ly $75 dollars. I'm sure this happens all the time, but I'm glad the agent didn't budge and stood her ground.

That just shows that the airline isn't always the one doing the scamming

TWFirst, what are you a MORON!!! I guess you feel all these posts are talking about you!!! Now give these guys some credit, because it is one of the most stressful jobs around, and people do some of the most stupid, outrageous, illegal, abusing, lying, and irresponsible things at the airport. Now I think we all can agree that 90 percent of fliers are some of the most kind, friendly, and wonderful people you have ever met. It's just some of those who bring problems from their job or HOME to the airport. SO lighten up TWFirst and give a smile to the person who hands your boarding card next time!!! You'll be suprised at the response..

No Tritanic, I'm not a moron but I CAN read. You evidently cannot. I challenge you to point to ONE WORD in my post saying that I do not smile to airline personnel or am not nice to them. On the contrary, I am especially nice to airline agents because of the very fact I understand how stressful it is, and I also understand how the game is played: you be nice to them and they will take care of you. I do not understand your accusation that I think this post is talking about me. This post is talking about a web site filled with some pretty funny material, but with an undeniable attitude that passengers are a pain in the ass. I can't tell you how many times I've experienced agents that are complete assholes from the moment I walk to the counter (I live in MSP, so most of them work for NW). I reiterate my point: you don't like your job? Get a new one. I don't deserve being treated badly because you don't like your job. I worked my way through college as a front desk manager for a large hotel chain in a major city. I encountered hundreds of idiotic moron guests. But I liked my job and I smiled and helped them as best I could.

See that's my point!!! Most of us love our job's, but people can do some of the most insane stuff that's not applicable outside the airline industry. People throwing briefcases, throwing tickets at agents for weather!!! Screaming at a flight attendant because it's time to land and no more alcohol. Passengers pretending their poodle is a seeing eye dog and then letting it run all over the plane!!! Passenger fighting on board the aircrafts. People that are very nervous about flying and drink drink drink drink then become very drunk drunk drunk. Getting in the middle of divorced parents who fly their kids back and forth!!! Passengers who are a half hour late, and proceed to use every reprehensible four letter word that is not in websters!!
So my friend the stories to be shared are more interesting, amusing, and hilarious. Wow do each of us have alot!!!! DO I WANT TO QUIT MY JOB!!!! HELL NO, I LOVE IT!!! Most of us do, but sometimes just like airlines, passengers suck also!!!!!!
There is way way to much excitement here to quit!!! Plus we fly for FREE!!!

Ok fine. But if you're standing behind the counter, and I don't throw my briefcase or tickets and am not drunk and don't call you names, and simply smile and say "hi" but then proceed to ask what you consider a "stupid question," am I supposed to just happily accept a sneer and snotty answer because you're sick of "stupid questions" from "sucky passengers" who do "some of the most insane stuff that's not applicable outside the airline industry?"

I don't think so.

And I've heard a ton of horror passenger stories. I have good friends who are flight attendants/counter agents. But they don't act like assholes and treat passengers like they're a pain. Your quick response to call me a moron might indicate you are stressed out. Use your flight perks and get away for the weekend

Remember this about the airline employees..

Most have to work on the holidays when you are off and they are busier then ever. Not fun.

Many work nights and weekends while you relax and play not fun...

They have to put up with idiots and smile while they are berated for things outside their control and often being done to insure the safety and well being of the fool bitchin because his/her flight was delayed for 1 hour due to a tornado on the runway.

Hey when I travel on the holidays my fiance bakes cookies and we give them to the gate agents and crews. It is a thankless job and these folks put out every day to get you there. They deserve a site to poke fun at morons.

Remember them the next time you travel...

PS at my home airport I buy them 1/5ths for my fav airline employees during the holidays. (It also helps insure the upgrades and preferential treatment   )

Hey Al, I've done similar things for airline personnel (no cookies though but that's a great idea). I know you've worked at airlines, but don't you think a paying passenger deserves a smile and a "thank you?" All I'm saying is if an airline employee is that miserable in his/her position and takes it out on passengers, then get into another line of work. Yes, it is also unfair when asshole passengers abuse airline employees, and should not be tolerated. Unfortunately, that comes with the territory.

Wouldn't you get a new job if you hated your work?

And again, I appreciate the humor in the paxsuck website and agree that sometimes, you just need to vent.

One last thing, I'm pretty sure airline employees know they have to work on holidays when they're hired. If they don't want to do that, then...... well, you get my point.

I'd work on holidays at my company if it meant free travel

Some parts can be funny but I think that if the Webmaster worked for an airline, he would be fired quickly. I have a hard time thinking thinking that most airline employees have this frame of mind, most are nice and the webmaster seems to be a jerk.

What I hate in this site is the "Bang!-In-Your-Face" humor type, you know what I mean? Calling people bozos, assholes, idiots, because they ask "stupid" questions or because they keep their credit cards in their car. I'm sorry but that kind of people are not exactly (or not at all) what I should call assholes and idiots. I'm a frequent flyer so for me there's no problem at all but try to think of those people who fly less than once a year. Some of them are pretty afraid and nervous, so it happens that they ask strange questions.

But let's look closer what Mr. Passengers Suck says in such a elegant way. Somewhere in the website he revolts vigorously against people asking if there will be another plane to replace the delayed one, when the bad weather is going to stop... For me, that kind of questions is okay. While travelling in the past years it happened at least three times I've been put on another aircraft 'cause the plane we were supposed to fly had mechanical problems.

You know, I like pretty much to laugh and that's the very reason why I took some time to take a look at the website we are talking about. I like to read or hear your aviation stories BUT I don't like it anymore when it gets to pure naughtiness. By the way, it seems to me that "Mr. Passengers Suck" is kind of an immature guy; just take a look at its Loosers Hall Of Shame, a section where he replies to all the bad comments he received. Its replies are full of insults. It's just childish and annoying.

Anyway I would tell this guy what many other users have said previously: If you hate people and their "f*ck*ng stupid questions" at this point then GET OVER IT OR FIND ANOTHER JOB.

Regards
CharterFlyer

I saw this website, and jeez! The guy who came up with that kind of website must've been one helluva an angry guy! Maybe he was a really disgruntled frequent flyer or something. That's just one of many possible reasons why he may have come up with a site like that.

Sure, there are some funny parts, like where a passenger thinks that the Airbus A320 is a bus and refuses to go because he says he wanted to go on a plane, not a bus.

But the guy who created the "Passengers Suck" site is getting childish and disrespectful of both airline passengers and employees. True there are some passengers who are idiots and I've heard real-life horror stories about FAs being rude or nasty, but face the facts - most passengers and airline employees aren't bad or rude or out to cause trouble. I'm not surprised if many passengers will actually ask questions that seem dumb or strange, CharterFlyer's right - it becomes perfectly understandable when you take into account those who don't fly very often or have never flown before. Most airline employees will usually go out of their way to help and reassure such people.

The airline industry is of a service and transportation type, so people are supposed to be very important to this industry's well-being. Passengers may have lost their importance over the years as airlines strive to maximize profit margins and become so large that equipment and money become more and more paramount. And also as more and more delays happen as airports get bigger and the skies get more crowded. But they are still important! So it's understandable why passengers are feeling worse about the service compared to twenty years ago. This is where the passengers Bill of Rights come in to protect them.

I just finished checking the site out thoroughly. LOL! It's pretty damned funny! I can understand many of the points of view because I have friends who work in the airline industry. I can say that, thankfully, I have NEVER been one of THOSE passengers!

Of course, there is much about the airliner personnel points of view exhibited on the site that is very old-world Soviet Aeroflot.  And I'm pretty certain the guy who put the site together is 100% certifiable. But then, there's nothing wrong with that...

Personally, I thought it was durn funny, and yes, I have been some of those passengers. If you can't laugh at yourself... Basically, no matter what your job is you are going to have to deal with other people, and some of those people are gonna be real pain's in the tushy! Every profession should have a site like that. I applaud the person or persons who created that site and I still want my upgrade, damn it!@!!
