The 2005 CEO Choice Domestic Airlines Survey Awards United Top Honors
PALO ALTO, Calif. and CHICAGO, Oct. 19, 2005 - Frost & Sullivan and United Airlines today announced that United was awarded two top honors in the 2005 CEO Choice Domestic Airlines Survey conducted by Frost & Sullivan analysts. United's Mileage Plus® program was named the Best Frequent Flyer Program in the United States. In addition, the company was voted the airline with the "most convenient schedules" among domestic airliners. Survey respondents included chief executive officers and presidents in North America, who evaluated their preferences, views and opinions on a range of airline performance characteristics.

"We're honored that our domestic schedule and Mileage Plus program have been recognized by a select group of seasoned business travelers who fly thousands of miles a year on United," said John Tague, United's executive vice president of Marketing, Sales and Revenue. "We will maintain our focus on the needs of our business travelers by enhancing our route network to connect them with the cities where they frequently do business. Additionally, we'll continue to invest in our award-winning Mileage Plus program, providing our most frequent travelers unmatched reward choices and redemption opportunities."

“This award is significant as corporate heads greatly influence the market” said Frost & Sullivan research analyst Katerina Konstantinou. “These results indicate that business leaders prefer and recommend United Airlines in these categories, and will support the airline in furthering its prominence within the business community.”

Frost & Sullivan is a global growth consulting company. The professionals on the CEO Choice Survey panel are directly contacted by Frost & Sullivan's analysts, and the responses are quantitatively measured. United will receive its awards at Frost & Sullivan's 2005 Best Practices Awards Banquet on October 26th in Phoenix, Arizona.
