Continental has the largest fleet of 737-800's at
the moment, among the US majors, but I believe
this will change as Delta and American take more
I flew the 737-800 for the first time in April, on
my way to MSY from EWR via CLE. The -800
was on the EWR-CLE leg. It was very nice, a
lot like the 737-400. I flew the CLE-MSY leg
and the MSY-EWR nonstop leg on a 737-500
which was also surprisingly nice, considering
how small a plane it is (10F, 94Y seats only).

ATA will be flying an even cooler version of the 737-800 shortly. Early next year, look for winglet-equipped, high-horsepower, heads-up-display-loaded ATA 737-800s to be circulating through Indianapolis.
