Does NWA offer it on their A330?

Tks

I know SAS offers it on their 340's that fly CPH-SEA. Come to Seattle while we still have good weather, makes for a nice vacation.  Big grin

If you want to have a broadband internet access from your laptop, I suggest to you SAS or Lufthansa.
Only those two airline companies have the well proven Connexion by Boeing service onboard.
The routes with this service already on are:

SAS

Stockholm - Newark
Stockholm - Chicago
Copenhagen - Newark
Copenhagen - Seattle
Copenhagen - Washington D.C.
Copenhagen - Chicago

..and viceversa

Lufthansa

Frankfurt - NewYork JFK
Frankfurt - Washington D.C.
Frankfurt - Detroit
Frankfurt - Los Angeles
Frankfurt - Portland
Munich - NewYork JFK
Munich - Washington D.C.
Munich - Boston
Munich - Charlotte
Munich - Chicago
Munich - Los Angeles
Munich - San Francisco

...and viceversa

I hope this can help you...

Cheers

I tried it on LH's A330 last week FRA-BOS and wasn't really happy with the performance, seems to be kinda slow...

...really??? I only had positive feedback from some friends that already used it on LH flights...
Interesting to know that sometimes it's not working so fast...

I did use it on Lufthansa MUC/SFO/MUC. Performance depends a lot on what you are doing online. Downstream is fast, upstream is slow. You should not plan to upload large files while on the plane or to send E-Mails with large attachments. Receiving is OK.

Ping time is 500 ms to 1 second. This is OK for browsing the internet or E-Mail, but doing other work can be difficult.

Actually it's the opposite. It is mostly felt when sending/receiving small packets. When downloading large content with high latency, you will not feel it. If there is a packet loss however, large tranfers will easily be a pain.

Last flight: SAW-CPH on H9 on 02/11/09 - Next Flights: 23/12/09 CPH-AAL on QI, 30/12/09 CPH-LHR on SK, 19/01/10 CPH-CDG-

Why the opposite? Do you really want to say that internet browsing and E-Mail is difficult but anything else is OK?

When browsing you click, wait for 750 ms and then get the complete page very fast. This is acceptable. It also does not hurt if you get an E-Mail with some delay, you don't even know it.
