What Now For Iceland Express?

Now that Icelandair will be taking over Sterling Airways from 1st January 2006, where does this leave Iceland Express? There had been a thought that its planned expansion would be facilitated by Sterling aircraft seconded to KEF. Now presumably not so - but surely they can't want to stick with Jetx MD-80s?

(If it was always Fons' intention to sell Sterling/Maersk on to FL, perhaps they already have a strategy - if so I'd be interested to know what it is.)
