Well, we see this thread spring up all the time, along with longest, but check out what Air Canada is up to:
Vancouver - Victoria, 39 miles, on an A319. Total time is set for 26 minutes, same as the regular Dash-8s that make a run on this route (have been on gate-gate -8s in 20 minutes, with flight time well under 15). Now this should be fun in an Airbus. Looks like it takes place in November (dunno how long it will run for). Working out a trip that includes a hop in YVR in a couple of weeks, so will see if I can get on this flight and attempt to write a report.

The shortest scheduled jet service scheduled was KI F28 YVR-YCD-YVR scheduled for 15min in air. Op'd flight YVR-YCD in 6 minutes through YVR control over to YYJ control with at least 14 different frequency changes enroute. Needelss to say not much time to help PIC! This schedule was in effect for 4 weeks in summer of 97 due to DH8 mtc on 1 flt /day opd with the F28-1000 confg'd with 63 seats.

United used to sell seats on its maintainance ferrys on SFO-OAK, which are directly across San Fransisco Bay from each other. LAX-ONT on a CRJ is also a very short jet route. Air Cal used to sell SNA-LAX on their 737s.
Mangeons les French fries, mais surtout pratiquons avec fierte le French kiss
