It's been a long time since I've seen information on Gemini Air Cargo on any of the boards. Saw one of their planes in FRA last week, so I assume they are doing work for LH? They used to be big in MIA but no more. Where have they moved to? Last I knew they had four MD-11 freighters and six or seven DC-10 freighters. Anyone have any current info on what airports they frequent, who they fly for and what their fleet looks like now? Also, what are their fleet plans for the future, if known. Thanks!

FRA was probably flying for Air Canada, they were operating YYZ-FRA-YYZ about a month or two ago for them, then World ran it for a while, and I think it has gone back to Gemini now...so if it was on a Saturday or Sunday, then it was probably for ACA!

Both Gemini and World do cargo for AC. They have started using both for services into to Asia now as well using the MD-11F. The corresponding aircraft have an AC logo on each aircraft that op Cargo flights on behalf of AC, which will be long term contracts. I wouldn't be suprised to see these painted into AC colours at some point...then see what the ACPA group says, if anything at all, as none are type rate for the MD-11!

Thanks for the feedback - I didn't know about the Air Canada contract. Thought the plane in FRA was doing LH work. Now, does anyone know their current fleet composition and plans for future aircraft? Thanks a lot!
