Qantas Advertisment Over London

Did anyone from London see the impressive Qantas advertisment today over London?.A helicopter dragging a huge qantas flag with the words "sale now on"
It looked very impressive in the blue sky.(skies are not usually blue in london). I noticed many people looking up at it.I wonder if they do this else where.  up 


your pilots today on this 747 flight are captain oliver hardy and assisting will be FO stan laurel.Have a safe flight

Sure did, one of my organisation's new buildings in Vauxhall has a great view across the city and East London and I watched it buzzing about for a while  Smile

because a helicopter is louder than a prop craft and slower so more people would hear the helicopter look up and still see the sign

I was at the third test at Old Trafford when it was flown overhead. Great memories from a great summer of cricket.

they also have flown that flag over melbourne several times.. i do my flying training out of essendon and have seen them take off with it from there a few times.. impressive sight, but bloody slow when you are waiting for a take off clearance and its in your way..lol

The "real" Ashes urn has never been to Australia, apparently it's too fragile to travel ...

That what the MCC says anyway. I saw the story on TV before the series. Someone privately suggested that the urn would only go to Australia over their dead body!!! Sorry I forgot my history, I guess we have to win the thing first don't we. So as not to upset the opposition I personally thought you deserved the win, well done...
