This is interesting although not unexpected. I am wondering if the Tempe headquarters can handle the eventual influx of hundreds of eastern-based US employees. Seems like they may need to consider expanding the AZ headquarters somehow.

Living in Winston-Salem, this is bad news.

However, the opening of the new Dell Computer plant recently, the largest and most state of the art assymbly plant in their corporation, will help offset these losses.

From local press reports, not many of the Arlington hqs people are moving to Tempe, although the Wash Post never reports how many weren't wanted as compared to how many declined the offer.
