A350 To Kill A330?

With the A350 having been launched with over 100 commitments already, does that mean we can all waive bye bye to the A330? Like I mentioned in another thread, I don't see any reason why any airline would order the A330 instead of the A350 unless they get a huge discount or a favorable delivery slot.

Apparently, the A350 is an A330 on steroids and will be certified as an A330 variant which is perfectly okay with me but if I remember correctly, Leahy recently mentioned that the A330 will be a top seller for the next 10 years. Well, why buy an A330 instead of the more efficient A350 then? Price would be a big factor but delivery slots doesn’t make much sense to me reason being an airline is investing on a plane for the long run so why not wait a couple of years to get the A350 slot coz chances are they'll keep the plane for a long time thus end up saving money in the long run (maybe lease a plane till their slots are near)

Anyways, just my two cents and comments would be appreciated.
