Feeling Melancholy tonight... thought I'd compile a list of carriers that gave up the ghost since I've been a member.

Ansett
TWA
Sabena
Swissair
Caledonian
Canada 3000
America West
Canadian

I'm probably missing several others, but that's ok. As long as we're true to the spirit of the thing. Please add.
