First of all, i'm not about to really consider start planning a get together, however if all of us Oz (or more specifically MEL) crew put ideas together, i'm sure we could orginise something.
Hell, they're doing over Zurich and other euro places, why not use down here?!
Anyone with ideas, or the able to facilitate such an idea PLEASE POST

Quoting NAV20 (Reply 6): what are we all doing awake at THIS hour?
Work night fill at safeway, so my working hours are usually right now, but got the night off. It's my last week in fact before I start my new job at Customs.

Quoting NAV20 (Reply 6): Sounds like the Tudor Inn at Cheltenham
Ahh, the Tudor Inn.......... used to work over the road from there (at what's now the local council building last time I went past) had a few long lunches there...........
Put me up for it only ifs in SYD or DJ has cheap air fares from Coffs, Then I might be able to come. The Sunday the A380's in SYD would be good or this weekend.

Quoting NAV20 (Reply 6): Sounds like the Tudor Inn at Cheltenham for a start, then, Bakestar. Though the Mentone Hotel or the Beauey are the better pubs. I'll PM you.
Bit far away from my location at 265 Exhibition Street. Of course I'm not in MEL all of the time, but if you're planning something in the future, I'm keen.

I dare say that there will be one or two of us out at SYD on the 14th when the A380 comes in from KUL. I haven't seen any timings yet, but I will be there. So why not have a mini-meet then.
Then once we can that one under the belt we can go and visit the regional airports. (only joking MEL).

Quoting HKGKaiTak (Reply 20): Now can anyone tell me why I'm lending my digital camera to my parents that weekend?!
Because you want to go and buy yourself a new one, and then make your parents pay for it out of guilt?
AAAAAAAAAAAAA I have just realised that I am away the Blue Mountains on the Sat and Sun. Thankgod for day light saving. I should be home in time to see her. Hopefully will see her take off on Monday though.

This may seem like a pretty stupid question, but what are we supposed to do at the meetings. Please make sure the meeting isn't in a pub (i'm under 18). Can you guys (and girls) decide soon if this will happen or not. I need to book flights before Monday.
I'm a little 13 year old kid who gets paid out about loving planes and unfortunately doesn't look older than 18.

25 Loran: I join the meeting if its in MEL. I live in CBD and work in Fishermans Bend. Cheers, Loran
26 Senliture: If MEL, count me in, I'm at Oakleigh East and studying at Monash (woohoo! finished my exams!) Shall we make it for the A380 arrival?
27 Wunala: We will do the above, but also bring beer and a bbq to toast the arrival of the A380. Make it a grand day out. Not sure what pubs are around there. I
28 Onedude: Could always meet at Krispy Kreme near the GA area. Free parking and good doughnuts!
29 Ozair: I'm in for any SYD meet, I was planning on seeing the Whale when it arrived anyway. Is there a definite schedule for it yet?
30 HKGKaiTak: With the engine "problem" the A380 is having, I wonder when we can all go and see her arrive ... my guess is it will be during the week when I have to
31 QFA380: This maybe abit early but what about one at the Avalon Airshow in March 2007. Hoiw many of you guys are planning on going. My mum's already confirmed
32 Razza74: I am in for the PER meet. . . . oh hangon I am the only one from PER
33 TNboy: No Razza74, there's two of us. But it will be a long wait in the Golden West for the A380 to arrive!! Avalon sounds a posibility though. (And to think
34 Aussie747: On the first weekend in February there is always the annual Sydney Spotters weekend. That is always on. However I am pretty sure SYD airport will be p
35 HKGKaiTak: Well I sure hope they announce the A380 schedules soon ... how many of us will be at SYD to welcome her on Sunday?
36 ZKSUJ: Why don't you guys come to AKL for the meet? Set the dates, I might join for a small holiday of some sort
37 Jetfuel: Brisbane anybody? OR with lots of notice Sydney may be better - I think many people would fly to Sydney
38 Qantasclub: Hey, Melbourne guys, I'm in flemington and work in the city. Keen for a melbourne meet whenever, happy to travel. (sorry if that sounds a bit desperat
