BA's Livery - Your Opinion

What do you think about BA's world
livery.By me that the idea was good,
but now I don't like it very much because
the BA's planes are far less recognizable
from the distance, and, I like big airports
with their "home" fleet in unified design.
I would like BA to have somestandard
design on all their aircraft!
BTW: British Airways RULEZ

a million times or more. The BA livery stinks. It's symbolic of the airline's
downturn. Most of the fleet is being repainted in the stylized Union Jack,
which is much better.

this has been discussed a lot of times but i loved the scheme before the different tails, that scheme was the sign of a true great airline.

I love it. I think it is the best representation yet of aircraft artwork on a large scale. And I think anyone who hates it is stodgy!

Okay maybe not but I really think it was a great idea and now having about 50% of the fleet be the Union Jack scheme is well-balanced.

The 1980s look while attractive at the time was reminescent of the Thatcher years. Over. Done that. Bye bye.
Some of the new tails are awesome - the scottish tartan, the south african colors, the indian paithani, and the japanese calligraphy are pretty neat. The Union jack is kinda blah but I agree that a 50-50 mix between the world tails and the union jack is pretty cool.

I WAS a little disappointed that they did not include the regal "To Fly, To Serve" seal into the Union Jack livery. I guess that is what is wrong with it. But I do not support going back to the old livery or repaint the world image tails. Britain has just changed too much from that stereotype to go that far.
