I'll be flying on BA (GB Airways) from London Gatwick to Hurghada (Egypt) right after New Years for the coming year. I had a few questions that I was wondering:
1) How is the service on this route? Meal? IFE? Pitch? (I know this route just started a few days ago, but I am still curious as it's actually operated by GB Airways).
2) Will these flights be full?
3) I was told there is no advance seating, is this correct?
4) How is the on-time performance of BA flights operated by GB Airways?
Thanks so much!

I flew GB airways to TFS 2 Weeks ago. There's a drink service (with a packet of nibble things), then a meal service (hot meal) and then another drink service.
IFE is in the form of small screens folding down from the ceiling, they want 3 pounds for a set of headphones, but I just used my own.
Both my flight out to TFS and back to MAN were delayed by about 20 minutes.
Hope this helps

Flown with them plenty of times to AGP, nice airline with all the usual BA frills. Pre booking of seating should be available through the BA website, at least window or aisle selection. Normally very punctual.

I actually booked the flights for my parents and myself from AA at the local airport here. Is is still possible to select the seats on the BA website then? I already selected seats on AA from BOS-LHR the previous day and for the return, just not the BA (GB Airways) portion to HRG because I was told that I can't until I get to the airport. I really would like a window seat so I can take pictures of Egypt from the air, and I'm afraid if I wait until we get to the aiport I won't get a window seat
BTW, does anyone know if my Egyptian VISA that I bought at CAI in August to get into Egypt that is in my passport will allow me entry again in January, or will I have to buy more stamps?

GB Airway's is a full scheduled airline that offers meals inclusive, IFE and decent seats. You'll be offered a full lunch and dinner service respectively on the outbound and inbound services (you can pre-book special meals). Seat Pitch is 31 inches and IFE is offered on drop down screens.
Judging by the loads since the service started and considering January is the peak season for the resort, I'd say yes. What dates are you travelling and I'll tell you how it's looking at the moment...

As Shamrock_747 said, no. TUNisia please email me though...
Quoting TUNisia (Thread starter): 4) How is the on-time performance of BA flights operated by GB Airways?
For September (latest stats), 74.2% of BA flights departed within 15 mins of the STD, compared to 83.6% for GB Airways.
