I travel from Athens to London frequently with Olympic Airways and I'm very satisfied (I've been in B734,A300-600,A340-313) but want to fly with one of BA or Virgin. Please let me know any experience of these two (compare service, smooth flight, meals, aircrafts used etc).I've heard that BA uses B767 and Virgin A320 for this route.
Thanks

Connecting City/Airport:
LGW - London Gatwick
LHR - London Heathrow

Destinations:

AMM - Amman, JORDAN
TLV - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL
RUH - Riyadh, SAUDI ARABIA
JED - Jeddah, SAUDI ARABIA
KWI - Kuwait City, KUWAIT
DXB - Dubai, U.A.E.
AUH - Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
BEY - Beirut, LEBANON

Please take Virgin! Why else would my handle be "Virgin Lover"? It's the best airline I've ever traveled on! The amenities are great, F/A's are extremely nice, and the food is actually edible. Fly Virgin!

I would take BA for the simple reason of convenience. Also, hasn't Virgin replaced the A320 with a newer A321?

hey
i agree with Virgin Lover and VirginA340

you will not be dissapointed.
(do they hav PTV;'s on their smaller planes?)

yopu will get a really cool amnety kit including a rubber duck.

Food is great and from Hong kogn to london the food was called "Best plane food" or something similar and it was great~!!!!

choose Virgin
over BA

Plus the Virgin Private televisions are great, and u can play video games

but on BA u will not have any of these.

Half of your statement is right, Teahan. PTVS on flights to Athens-London, are not guaranteed, but some flights do have them. I believe they give out amentity kits on all their flights. I don't think the kits are so expensive to not give anyone one!

BA recently remodeled every single plane.

I have nothing against Virgin. They are a VERY good airline, but in my experinces BA was better.

It's like you've read my mind guys.I like Virgin the most too but haven't you tryied both airliners to tell me where Virgin is better than BA ? Is it better to try the B767 of BA or the A321 of Virgin ? Do they have PTVs for such a short trip ?
Thanks again.
