I have noticed that the viewers balcony at Gatwick has been closed for some time now. Why has it closed and are there any plans to reopen it or provide an alternative? Thanks.

I never think of the future - it comes soon enough.

The old Spectators Terrace in the South Terminal is now a lovely BAA Staff Cafe, was in there a few weeks ago, some great views to be had. Rather expensive though!! As far as i'm aware, there are no other spectator areas at LGW  Sad

Is this now airside and if not, is it available to non-BAA staff that possess Manchester ID cards, by any chance?
