The A-380 testprogram now gains momentum, F-WXXL (cn 002) has made its first flight today from Toulouse. Actually a good thing a first flight already seems routine as I can't find any pictures or news in the database. So here some old pictures

Freakin hell, are we gonna have a new thread for every A380 that flies, granted it may only be 150 for the next 20 years?
The meaning of life is curiosity; we were put on this planet to explore opportunities.

Americans are so jealous.

Sorry, only in German, but it says that the 3rd A380 will be coming to Hamburg next week to get a complete cabin interior and also a livery. (anyone an idea which livery?)

Quoting TaromA380 (Reply 10): No news, no pictures, not even a small report on Airbus.com. It's a hoax.
Does Boeing give a press report on the first flight of every new 737? Maybe it is a sign it's getting routine that they don't. I got this from a very reliable source in Toulouse, wasn't there myself though. Do you have a prove then that the third A-380 didn't fly yet before you make rude statements like this? If you'd first check my background and message history you'd know that I don't make up hoaxes. Maybe they just wanted to do it low key this time.

Weren't they painting one in EK livery for the Dubai Airshow?

Quoting KiwiTEAL (Reply 16): Could it be Qantas? .... one of them is due here next week - tho I would expect the head of the fleet to present itself in its Airbus livery
Will propably be the first one as I don't think they can fit the 3rd with the cabin interior and the livery within a few days. Or they put some Qantas stickers on the 2nd one flying (the white one which was in FRA)

I was at TLS at about 10.00 local time, and I saw her, but parked as usual opposite the passenger terminal, so either it was a very early morning flight, or she'll be flying later, or my eyes were playing tricks on me!!??

Thanks Ants for backing me up ! Djeez, I run a production list website and have contacts within Airbus for it, why the hell would I put a hoax on it online? What a bitter sour suspective persons TaromA380 and EI747Sydney are... guilty unless proven innocent...

No prob MEA-707. I knew there would have to be a photo somewhere online (Airbus are usually pretty quick in that regard) so it was nice to find one after a bit of searching to back you up.

Be careful with suggesting something like this. Maybe somebody will claim that the whole A380 issue is a hoax by Airbus, and that no A380 has ever actually flown.
