I know this is a long shot, but I wonder if any of you can help me on this one.

I am absolutely certain of the registration of every aircraft I have every flown on except this one. The flight left SFO after dark and was parked in such a place that is was impossible to see the tail/registration number.

I asked a member of the ground staff if she knew the tail number and she gave me a number which didn't exist when I checked it out in my fleet book when I returned to the UK. The nearest match was N586UA a B757-222.

The flight would have landed at BOS early on 27th June 2000.

Hope someone might be able to help!
