Ok so there are storms in the Chicago area today which means diversions. AA flight 154 NRT-ORD a 777-200ER diverted to MKE, which was a welcome sight. Any other diversions out there?
Nice Trip Report!!! Great Pics, thanks for posting!!!! B747Forever

Very heavy fog, but no rain along the downtown lakefront right now. The AA 772 inbound from Narita must have been very low on fuel to make this expensive diversion.

We (MKE) usually get most of the widebody diversion from ORD. It's always a nice change of pace to see one come in.

That AA 777 came right over my house very low sometime around 2:45! It was Awesome!!!! I was hoping for some more diversions but it seems things have settled down in the chicago area. Pretty strange to see thunderstorm diversions in November.

Man o man, tommarow, Saturday, is my day off and I've been considering going out to GRR, I hope there is a few diversions there! This summer, they got most from DTW, one from ORD a UA763....and a few DC10 and A333 from, well DTW, and fueled those the first time they came. I love diversions...the only thing that can make someone the most angry and happy in 2 seperate lives in a matter of minutes!

Little Ol' BMI received Shuttlecraft 7670 from IAH-ORD. It was only there about 2 hours, but the first (and probably last) E170 in BMI was a huge hit among the United and other airline employees. Since we don't have a jetbridge for United, we borrowed Airtran's airstairs. Airtran employees were quite impressed with the next generation of regional jet travel!
Quite a collection of passengers were taking a look from inside the waiting area in the terminal.
The captain said that they were originally going to divert to SPI, but the company wanted them to come to BMI. I'm not complaining - I'm glad we can help!
