I was looking through the DB and came across a bunch of pics of , and was wondering what Qatar Airways is doing with these Global Express bizjets.... at first I thought they used them possibly for the Heads of state etc, but I didnt find anything written about such a possibility....the other obvious possibility is that QR uses them for the Business leaders of the airline. Or for PAX (apparently up to 30 pax can be squeezed into a BD-700 in "high-density" layout...) Its actually a gorgeous A/C and looks great in QR colors!

So.....anyone know?

Thanks!

Will be the the right answers I think.

I doubt that QR uses them for PAX services.

Maybe a training aircraft for pilots.

I wouldn't say that you have to "squeeze" 30 pax into a GX... and it is certainly a far cry from what is considered a commercial "high-density" layout! The GX is the same length as a CRJ700.

Like the few other airlines of the mid-east that fly bizjets, they're for execs, not pax.
