Boeing 777-200LR Due @ LHR Thursday 11/10

I just found out from the Yahoo LHR newsgroup that the Boeing 777-200LR is due into LHR this Thursday (Nov. 10).

This is a proving flight, 22hrs nonstop HKG-LHR via Pacific & Atlantic.

I don't know the exact time, but it's due sometime at LHR Thursday. Hopefully I, or someone else, will find out before then what time it's due in.

If I can, I'll be out there to catch it on film!

I forgot to add the registration of the 777-200LR due at LHR this Thursday...

It's registered N6066Z.

Just heard via Yahoo LHR newsgroup that the 777-200LR (N6066Z) is due at LHR at 1325 local time tomorrow! I'll keep an eye on this, and I plan to be out there at LHR to capture it on film!

It finally arrived! N6066Z landed on 27L at 1312 local time.

I was there to see it land--what a beauty! I had my camera with me, and I fired off 5 shots in rapid succession as it approached 27L.

Was anyone else from A.net there today?

1) Nov. 10, 2005: N6066Z approaches LHR runway 27L on an overcast afternoon, so the plane seems to emerge like a ghost from a white sky.
