I am eagerly awaiting Aeromexico 777 service from MEX to MAD and CDG. I am booked on a flight from MEX to MAD in their intercontinental business class in May 2006, which accordinging to Aeromexico's website will have long since had the T7's in service since Q1. Does anyone know if this is still on track and what their upgraded biz class will look like?

The schedules still show 767s but probably will be updated soon.
Any idea which route will get it first, CDG or MAD ?

MEX-CDG & MEX-MAD both at daily frequencies cannot be done with two aircraft. Some days of the week will have to be 763/767s.
Unless of course, AM can get their hand on a third airframe then daily frequencies can be possible to both destinations.

Quoting LAX2IADandORD (Thread starter): AM expects to start MEX-MAD and CDG 777 service on March 1st of 2006
You may want to check again with your AM sources, I think May or June is more likely.

Bear in mind what Carpethead mentioned; it may be the case that you are unlucky and get a 762ER instead. I hope you get one of the 2 772ER's, though, so that you write a trip report! What brings you to Mexico City, by the way?
And welcome to a.net. I see you just joined so I want to wish you a good time here. I am sure you will enjoy the threads and the pics a lot. Look forward to reading your posts.

On a SkyTeam Award Ticket from LAX to MAD via MEX. I have lots of family in GDL and business on and off throughout MEX. SkyTeam (or Delta rather) does not even think of routing through MEX when crossing the Atlantic. It was not until I suggested AM as a route via MEX (you know fully utilizing the alliance). I'd much rather cross (even on 767) the ocean with AM than with DL. I travel on AM to MTY and throughout MEX and I love their service. Inflight svc in F class puts US carriers to shame, hands down! Full meal svc on a 1.5 hr flight between MTY and GDL!! Plus the aeromosa's are just so much friendlier than what we have here in the US.
