Santa Barbara Airlines Grey 752...

I came across these photos of a Primaris 752 operating for Santa Barbara Airlines of Venezuela. I must say the grey livery combined with the Santa Barbara livery looks very nice! Has Santa Barbara Airlines returned the ex-AA/TW 752 to its owner or is the Primaris 752 a second 757 flying for Santa Barbara Airlines? For how long will this aircraft be leased?

A388,

The 757 that Santa Barbara used (N720TW, ex-TWA) was leased from Transmeridian, luckily enough S3 decided to go with Primaris instead a couple of months before TM's demise. I believe it is still flying with the grey metallic livery which looks sooooo good. The aircraft will be leased for a long time, I believe, as long as Venezuela is still a Category II. Also, S3 is doing very well on this route.

Was that aircraft re-engined? Its got RR power in those photos. All the TWA 757s flying at AA now are PW powered making them oddballs in AA's predominantly RR powered fleet.

EDIT: Nevermind, I failed to realize this Primaris bird was a replacement for N720TW which is still PW powered.

I think Big Foot is blurry, Its not the photographers fault. Theres a large out of focus monster roaming the countryside

Yeah, epale chamos! Donde estan las fotos del 767 vale? Big grin

The Primaris 757 in that fake metal paint looks like an old cargo airplane. Imagine if Santa Barbara got a color scheme based on the flag of Venezuela, now that would look good..

Dude, I've been going to the airport for two weeks now and nothing. I saw the Air Pullmantour 747, but no 767...

In the other hand, S3 clearly stated that for the first 10 days, they were going to use a Leased 763 from an Irish company while the original 763 was being painted and prepared for the required S3 configuration.... therefore, the original 767 should be getting here this weekend.

S3's site says they made their first 767 flight last week, but with the Irish-Leased a/c.

If you are wayting for those pics... think about me! I'm dying!

Saludos!

None... I think it's a big fake!

S3's site has not actualized it, so I've no idea. By today the painted aircraft should be flying, but nothing yet.

I'm starting to get mad!

Is this maybe the "new" B767 of Santa Barbara Airlines?
